The infotainment control module (ICM) checks communication with the multimedia control module (MMM), and the fault code is stored when a fault is registered on it. The cause may be an internal fault in the multimedia control module or the module being missing. It shows up as the steering wheel navigation buttons stopping working and voice messages not coming through.

- 1Read the code, clear it and check that the steering wheel buttons work after a test drive
- 2Check the multimedia system fuses; the location of each fuse is in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Have a workshop check that the multimedia control module (MMM) is connected and responds
- 4If the fault is permanent, have a workshop replace the multimedia control module (MMM)
