Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control modules on the CAN network send information to one another, and the infotainment control module (ICM) registers serious interference on the network, so communication is blocked. The code does not say more precisely what type of fault it is. The cause may be a damaged CAN wire or another module that disturbs the communication.
Mulige årsaker
- Short circuit between the CAN wires
- Open circuit in one of the CAN wires
- Internal fault inside the ICM unit
- Internal fault in another control module on the same part of the CAN network
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their locations are given in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 2With a diagnostic tool, read the fault codes in several modules. With CAN faults more than one code is likely, and they should be read together
- 3Gently shake the CAN wires and pull lightly on the connectors while checking, to see whether the fault follows
- 4See whether the code returns after a longer drive. If the fault remains, a workshop must measure the CAN network and replace the module sending faulty messages

- On S80, V70 and XC70 built before the end of August 2008: the display on the audio unit or the radio does not work
