The serial number of each infotainment module is kept in the CEM and compared at start-up. If the Bluetooth phone module (BPM) is not on the valid list, the Infotainment Theft Protection (ITP) function blocks it and the phone function is lost. The code is set when ICM registers this mismatch.
Mulige årsaker
- Fitting a Bluetooth phone module (BPM) that is not valid according to the list in the CEM
- Software not loaded when the module was replaced
- The software download failed or was incomplete
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their locations are given in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 2If the Bluetooth phone module was recently replaced, check that software was loaded with the change. The download is done by a workshop
- 3With a diagnostic tool, read the fault code after switching the ignition on, clear it and see whether it returns
- 4If the fault remains after the software download, the module may need replacing. A workshop should assess this and check that the unit is accepted by the system
