The electric rear axle drive module (IEM) is not getting at least one signal from the engine control module (ECM). Although the code is named invalid data, it is the signals that are absent. The fault is only checked once the test has started at ignition on, and the code is stored when the conditions are met.
Mulige årsaker
- Oxidation, contact resistance or loose contacts at the terminals to HS CAN or Sensor CAN
- Damaged cables on HS CAN or Sensor CAN
- Software error in the electric rear axle drive module (IEM)
- Software fault in the engine control module (ECM)
- Internal fault inside the ISC voltage converter
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read out and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check that the connectors on HS CAN and Sensor CAN are fully engaged and free from corrosion
- 3Have a workshop check chafed or damaged CAN cables
- 4Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check communication with the engine control module and load the latest software to the control modules if needed
- 5Do not work on the electric rear axle or its high voltage system yourself; have a workshop carry out those checks

- PURE drive mode disengages by itself or is not available
- AWD drive mode disengages by itself or is not available
- HYBRID drive mode runs with the combustion engine active all the time or too often
