The head unit (IHU) watches the voltage on the signal wires to the AUX output. The code is stored when the voltage is too high, which points to a wire shorted to supply voltage.
Mulige årsaker
- The signal wire is short-circuited to supply voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the code, then check whether it comes back
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Disconnect the accessory from the AUX input and see whether the code clears
- 4Check the AUX cable for chafing, and for places where it may have touched a live wire
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop trace the AUX output and the wiring further
