Hva betyr feilkoden?
The keyless vehicle module (KVM) monitors the connection to the outer antennas on the left side of the car when the car reaches a certain speed. The code is stored when the signal from any of them is too low. The keyless functions then work poorly or not at all.
Mulige årsaker
- The driver circuit feeding the outer left-hand antennas has a short to ground
- One of the outer left-hand antennas is faulty
- The wire to the outer left-hand antenna is shorted to ground
- The outer left-hand antenna is damaged
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Disconnect the battery negative lead and inspect the wiring to the antennas in the left door handle for damage and chafing
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wiring to the outer left-hand antennas is not in contact with ground (the body)
- 4Make sure the connectors at the antennas and at the KVM are firmly seated and free from corrosion
- 5Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the antennas and the KVM; the module may need replacing if no other fault is found
Symptomer du kan merke1
- Keyless functions do not work at all or work poorly
