The KVM (keyless vehicle module) monitors the outer antenna at the rear of the car once it reaches a certain speed. The code is stored when no signal arrives from the rear antenna circuit. The keyless functions then work poorly or not at all.

2Disconnect the battery negative lead and check that the connectors to the rear antenna are firmly seated and clean
3Use a multimeter to check that the cable to the rear antenna has no open circuit
4Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the cable, the antenna and the KVM, and replace the antenna if no other fault is found
