Hva betyr feilkoden?
On the right front door, the keyless vehicle module (KVM) tracks the unlock switch, which indicates the handle is out. The timer starts when the switch is activated and resets when the handle is released. If the switch has been activated for too long, the code is stored, and unlocking of the door may then be slow.
Mulige årsaker
- The unlock switch on the right front is faulty
- The right front handle has been held pulled out for an unusually long time
- The signal wire has a short to ground
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and pull the right front handle to see whether the door unlocks straight away
- 2Check that the handle returns to its rest position and is not damaged, and that dirt or ice is not preventing it
- 3With the ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the wire between the KVM and the handle switch is not connected to ground (the body)
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: pull the handle out and check that the switch value in live data shows activated while the handle is out
- 5Have a workshop replace the door handle if no other fault is found
