- 1Look for broken, chafed or loose connectors on the signal wire running from the KVM to the receiver
- 2If a break is suspected, have a workshop measure the cable between the KVM and the receiver; the cable and connectors must be intact
- 3If the cable and connectors are intact but voltage is present at the receiver (RRX), it is most likely an internal fault in it; have a workshop confirm this
- 4If the receiver is intended for another car, have a workshop fit one that suits this particular car
- 5Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
