Hva betyr feilkoden?
The LPG control module receives the engine coolant temperature from the engine control module (ECM). The code is set when that signal has been too low for a while with the engine running, and because the signal comes from the engine control module, its codes should be read first.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connector on the engine control module (ECM)
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connector on the LPG control module
- Open circuit or short circuit to ground in the signal wire
- Incorrect signal sent from the engine control module (ECM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the codes in the engine control module (ECM) first, since the signal originates there
- 2Start the engine and read the coolant temperature with diagnostic equipment; if it looks normal, the fault has probably been present but is not active at the moment
- 3Check the connectors on the engine control module and the LPG control module for poor contact and oxidation
- 4Check the signal wire for chafing and damage, and use a multimeter to confirm it has no contact with ground
- 5Erase the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
Symptomer du kan merke1
- The engine does not run on gas
