Hva betyr feilkoden?
The LPG control module and the ECM exchange information about which fuel is active, gas or gasoline. The code is set when the signal about the active fuel is faulty and the LPG control module reads it as an error.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connector on the LPG control module
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connector on the ECM
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Signal wire short-circuited to ground
- Signal wire short-circuited to supply voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1With diagnostic equipment, check the signal changes when you switch between gas and gasoline once the engine is warm; normal readings suggest no active fault
- 2Check the connectors on the LPG control module and the ECM for poor contact and oxidation
- 3Check the signal wire for breaks, chafing and damage, and use a multimeter to confirm it has no contact with ground or supply voltage
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the signal wire between the LPG control module and the ECM
- 5Erase the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
