Hva betyr feilkoden?
The module checks the DC voltage on the wire that carries the signal from the GPS antenna. The code is set when that DC voltage is too low, which may be caused by a trapped antenna cable that shorts its screen to ground, or by a signal wire shorted to ground.
Mulige årsaker
- Trapped antenna cable that short-circuits its screen to ground
- The signal wire is short-circuited to ground
- Faulty GPS receiver inside the MMM unit
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the fuses for the multimedia system and make sure none has blown
- 2Look for a trapped or chafed antenna cable, especially where it passes through the body or near moving parts
- 3Check that the connectors on the antenna cable and at the multimedia module are fully seated and free from oxidation
- 4Erase the code and road test the car to see whether navigation works and the code stays away
- 5Have a workshop measure the signal wire against ground and, if faulty, replace the antenna cable or the GPS receiver in the multimedia module (MMM)
Symptomer du kan merke2
- The car position on the map is incorrect
- The navigation does not work
