The code concerns antenna 2 and the signal wire from the antenna amplifier, which passes traffic information (TMC) to the multimedia module (MMM). The module checks the DC voltage on that wire and sets the code when the voltage is too high or missing.
Mulige årsaker
- Open circuit on the signal wire
- The signal wire is short-circuited to ground
- Damaged antenna amplifier
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the fuses for the antenna amplifier; if one has blown, check the wire for a short to ground before a new fuse is fitted
- 2Look for chafed, pinched or damaged wires between the antenna amplifier and the multimedia module
- 3Check the connections at the antenna amplifier and the multimedia module for contact resistance, oxidation and looseness
- 4With a multimeter you can check that the signal wire has no contact with ground (the body)
- 5Have a workshop check the antenna amplifier and replace it if it is damaged
