Hva betyr feilkoden?
The parking assistance module (PAM) monitors the signal from parking sensor 1. The fault is set when the voltage in the signal wire is too low. It can come from the signal wire or its connectors short-circuiting to ground, from an open circuit in the signal wire, or from an open circuit in the power supply wire between PAM and the sensor.
Mulige årsaker
- Short circuit to ground in the signal wire, or in its plugs between PAM and parking sensor 1
- Open circuit in the signal wire, or in its plugs between PAM and parking sensor 1
- Open circuit in the power supply wire, or in its plugs between PAM and parking sensor 1
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Switch off the ignition and check that the connectors at parking sensor 1 (outer left rear) are firmly seated and not corroded
- 2If you have a multimeter: disconnect the connector and measure that the signal wire is not touching earth, meaning the car body
- 3Have a workshop check that the power supply wire and the signal wire have no open circuits, and replace the parking sensor if no fault is found
