Hva betyr feilkoden?
The parking assistance module (PAM) sees that the signal from parking sensor 8 is too low or missing, which means the voltage in the signal wire is lower than it should be. The cause may be a short to ground or a break in the signal or supply wire, or in the connectors.
Mulige årsaker
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal wire or the connectors between the PAM and parking sensor 8
- Open circuit in the signal wire or the connectors between the PAM and parking sensor 8
- Open circuit in the supply wire or the connectors between the PAM and parking sensor 8
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the code, then test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Switch off the ignition and disconnect the connector to parking sensor 8, the outer sensor on the right front side
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire has no contact with ground and no break
- 4Carry out the same check on the supply wire to the sensor
- 5Check that the connectors are intact, firmly seated and free from oxidation; if the wiring is intact, replace the parking sensor and read the code again
