Hva betyr feilkoden?
The parking assistance module (PAM) has registered that the DC voltage in the signal wire to the sensor on the left front side is too low or missing. The fault may be caused by a poorly connected sensor, oxidation in the connectors, a short to ground or a break in the signal or supply wire.
Mulige årsaker
- The parking sensor is poorly connected
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- The signal wire is short-circuited to ground
- Short-circuit in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal or supply wire
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the code, then test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 2If B1B5711 or B1B5811 is also stored, start the fault tracing there: they point to a short to ground in the sensor supply wire
- 3Check that the connector to the left front side sensor is firmly seated and clean and free from oxidation
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal and supply wires between the parking assistance module and the sensor have no contact with ground and no break
- 5Check the other connectors that join the wiring between the sensor and the parking assistance module
- 6Once the fault is corrected, clear the code and function test the parking assistance
Symptomer du kan merke3
- Front or rear parking assistance does not work
- Yellow warning symbol and text message in the display
- Text message in the display together with a warning symbol
