Hva betyr feilkoden?
The parking assistance module (PAM) checks the DC voltage in the signal wire to the sensor on the right front side. The code is stored when the voltage is too high, which means the signal wire has contact with supply voltage.
Mulige årsaker
- The signal wire is short-circuited to supply voltage
- Short-circuit in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the code, then switch the ignition on again to see whether it comes back
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the signal status for the right front side sensor, with and without the sensor connector attached
- 3With the ignition switched off, use a multimeter to check that the signal wire between the parking assistance module and the sensor connector has no contact with supply voltage
- 4Check the other connectors along the wire between the sensor and the parking assistance module as well, so that no chafing lets the signal wire touch the supply wire
- 5If the wiring is intact, have a workshop trace the fault further
Symptomer du kan merke3
- Front or rear parking assistance does not work
- Yellow warning symbol and text message in the display
