The parking assistance module (PAM) has registered that the internal components of the outer left rear sensor are not working. The fault may be due to a damaged sensor, a poorly connected contact, oxidation in the connections or a break in the ground wire.

- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the code, then test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Check that the connector to the outer left rear sensor is firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, read the fault data for the outer left rear sensor and see whether it shows a fault in the sensor's internal parts
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the ground wire to the sensor has no break
- 5This points to a failure inside the sensor; replace the outer left rear parking sensor once the other checks are done
- 6If fault tracing points to a failure inside the parking assistance module, have a workshop replace the module and load new software
