Hva betyr feilkoden?
The parking brake module (PBM) continuously receives information from the central electronic module (CEM) over the CAN bus, and through the CEM also from the supplemental restraint system (SRS). The fault code is stored when communication with the CEM stops, when communication with the SRS is incorrect or stops, or when the clutch pedal information is incorrect or unreasonable.

- Fault in the central electronic module (CEM)
- Fault in the supplemental restraint system (SRS) or in its communication
- Clutch pedal sensor or clutch switch that is damaged
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive the car using the parking brake to see whether it returns
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: check whether there are fault codes in the CEM or in the supplemental restraint system (SRS), since the fault may lie in either
- 3If there are fault codes in the supplemental restraint system (SRS): do not work on it yourself; have a workshop read them and put them right
- 4If the fault returns, have a workshop troubleshoot the CEM and its communication; do not replace the CEM unless the workshop has confirmed an internal fault in it
- 5The parking brake is a safety function: have a workshop check it if it does not work as it should
