The control module in the rear door on the passenger side supplies the lock motor for the deadlock position. The signal from the output is too low when the deadlock position is activated, and the fault can then show as the lock not going into the deadlock position. The cause is a short to ground in the power supply cable.

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Test the door lock and the central locking with the buttons and controls to see which functions are affected
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the lock motor is not short-circuited to ground (the body)
- 4Look for damage, chafing and moisture in the wiring to the rear door and check the connectors for oxidation
- 5Remedy as needed, then check that the deadlock position works
