The front left door module feeds the puddle lamp in the left door mirror. The module has flagged a signal from the lamp output that is too high. The lamp in the mirror then does not work.
Mulige årsaker
- Voltage supply cable to the lamp short-circuited to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the voltage supply cable
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Test the lamp in the left mirror by activating it and see whether it lights
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the lamp has neither an open circuit nor contact with supply voltage
- 4Inspect the cable at the left mirror for pinch damage and check the connectors for oxidation
- 5After the work, activate the lamp again and check that it lights
