Hva betyr feilkoden?
The driver door module (DDM) powers the folding motor of the electrically adjustable mirror on the driver side. The control module has registered that the current on the output is too high, and the fault is stored when the cable is short-circuited to ground. The code is always set together with a code for the deadlock motor, because the two share a cable inside the control module.
Mulige årsaker
- Power supply cable short-circuited to ground
- Moisture and/or oxidation in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Try the central locking and the mirror folding and adjustment to see which functions do not work
- 3With a diagnostic tool, see whether the driver door module has a fault code for the deadlock position; if so, remedy it first
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the mirror motor is not short-circuited to ground (the body)
- 5Look for moisture and oxidation in the connectors and wiring at the driver-side mirror, and remedy them
