The passenger door module (PDM) powers the folding motor of the electrically adjustable mirror on the passenger side. The control module has registered that the signal is too low when the function is activated, and the fault is caused by the supply cable being short-circuited to ground. The mirror then cannot be folded in.

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Try folding the passenger-side mirror from its switch and note whether it moves
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the mirror motor is not short-circuited to ground (the body)
- 4Look for chafing, damage and moisture in the wiring at the passenger-side mirror and check the connectors for oxidation
- 5Remedy as needed, then check that folding works afterwards
