The PDM keeps watch on the power feed to the LED that signals when something sits in the blind spot. The module has detected that the supply cable to the LED is shorted to voltage.
Mulige årsaker
- Supply cable to the LED is shorted to voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and run a test drive to see whether the blind spot warning LED works and whether the code comes back
- 2Check the fuses in the fuse box and make sure they are intact
- 3Check the connectors at the LED and the door module for loose, oxidised or corroded contacts
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the cable to the LED has no voltage when the LED is switched off, which would indicate a short to voltage
- 5If you have diagnostic equipment, activate the blind spot warning LED and check that it lights
- 6If the wire is intact but the code comes back: have a workshop check the LED and the door module
