Hva betyr feilkoden?
The passenger door module (PDM) powers the motor that folds in the mirror on the passenger side. The module has detected that the current on the output is too high, which points to the supply cable being shorted to ground.
Mulige årsaker
- Supply cable is shorted to ground
- Moisture and/or oxidation in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and fold the passenger mirror in and out to see whether the code comes back
- 2Check the fuses in the fuse box; if a fuse has blown, look for a short to ground before a new fuse is fitted
- 3Check the connectors at the mirror motor and the door module for moisture, oxidation and loose contact
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the mirror motor has no contact with ground (the body)
- 5If you have diagnostic equipment, activate the folding of the passenger mirror and check that the motor starts
- 6If the wire is intact but the code comes back: have a workshop check the mirror and the door module
Symptomer du kan merke1
- Folding in of the passenger side mirror does not work
