Hva betyr feilkoden?
The telephone module (PHM) monitors the microphone signal coming from the handset. The fault is stored when the microphone signal is short-circuited to ground, and then the other party cannot hear you when you speak on the handset. The cause is the wire from the handset to the control module, which is in contact with the body.
Mulige årsaker
- The microphone signal wire from the handset to the control module is short-circuited to ground
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the fuses in the fuse box. Their locations are shown in the owner's manual or on the cover of the box
- 2Check that the connector in the handset is fully engaged and that the cable has not rubbed against edges or sharp parts
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wire from the handset has no contact with ground (the body). If there is contact with ground, the cable is short-circuited
- 4Clear the code and test calls on the handset again. If it returns, a workshop needs to check the wiring harness
