The tailgate control module (POT) checks the voltage supplying the motors for the tailgate lock, closing and opening. The voltage has become too high, which means the supply has picked up contact with voltage, or that there is a short circuit in the connectors. The code is set when the tailgate cannot close because something blocks it, and a damaged motor can also cause it.

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Clear the fault code, then cycle the tailgate open and shut with nothing in its path, and see whether the code comes back
- 2Check that the fuses for the tailgate are intact
- 3Check that the connectors at the motors and the control module are firmly seated and free from short circuits or corrosion
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the supply cable has no voltage to ground where it should not have any
- 5If the wiring is intact: have a workshop check the motors
