The tailgate control module (POT) monitors the tailgate closing button and has found that the button is registered as pressed for too long. If the button has jammed in the activated position, that is most likely the cause of the fault.

- The closing button is jammed in the activated position
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the tailgate closing button has not jammed in the pressed position and that it springs back when released
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: check the button status with and without pressing it; if it shows pressed in with nobody pressing it, the button or its mechanism needs checking
- 3Check that the earth connection between the button and the lock mechanism is secure and not corroded
- 4Check that the connectors at the control module and at the button are firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 5If the leads are intact: have a workshop replace the closing button
