The hydraulic operation of the tailgate has run longer than the tailgate control module (POT) accepts, which it judges as an incorrect signal from the hydraulic pressure sensor. The cause is an internal fault in the sensor, and the tailgate's functions may be limited.

- 1Clear the fault code and test drive the tailgate to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses for the tailgate are intact
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: close the tailgate with the lower-edge button, hold it until it reopens, and check the hall sensor status changes just before it opens
- 4If the hall sensor status does not change as described: have a workshop check the control module and the hydraulic components
