Hva betyr feilkoden?
The lane keeping function in the power steering control module (PSCM) and in the forward sensing module (FSM) does not have matching information, so the signal from the FSM is judged invalid. This can be due to poor contact or a break in the wiring between the modules, interference in the CAN network, or a damaged FSM.
Mulige årsaker
- Poor contact at a connector, from resistance or oxidation
- Brief open circuit or short circuit in the CAN cable between the PSCM and the forward sensing module (FSM)
- Open circuit or interference in the communication wiring between the PSCM and the FSM
- Interference or a brief open circuit on the controller area network (CAN)
- Damaged forward sensing module (FSM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Clear the fault code and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connectors at the forward sensing module and at the power steering control module are firmly seated and clean
- 3Check that the wiring between the modules is not chafed
- 4Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the communication between the modules and the CAN network
- 5Safety note: steering and lane keeping are safety systems, so have a workshop decide whether the FSM or the wiring should be replaced
