Hva betyr feilkoden?
The power steering control module has lost communication with the engine control module (ECM) on the CAN network. The fault lies in the engine control module, in the wiring, or in the control module that sends the information. The code is a knock-on fault and should stay stored until the faults in the CEM and any other affected modules are fixed. If the car is not a hybrid, the code can be ignored and cleared without further action.

- 1If the car is not a hybrid: clear the code without further action and check that it does not come back
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: look at the stored codes in the CEM and in the other modules, and fix those first
- 3Check that the cables do not run too close to sources of interference, such as mobile phones
- 4Check the connectors at the power steering and at the engine control module
- 5Safety note: steering is safety-critical, so have a workshop trace the CAN network if the power steering still performs poorly
