Hva betyr feilkoden?
The internal software in the power steering control module does not match the car's configuration. The module does not receive the correct configuration ID from the CEM. The cause may be that the module is set up for another car, or a break in the CAN wiring between the module and the CEM.
Mulige årsaker
- Configuration fault: the module does not suit this car, for example a used unit with other software or hardware
- Open circuit in the CAN wiring between the control module and the CEM
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check whether the control module is the original one for this particular car
- 2Read off and clear the fault code, test drive and see whether it returns
- 3Have a workshop measure the wiring between the control module and the CEM, since it needs readings at several points
- 4Have a workshop reprogram the control module with the correct software for the car
- 5Safety note: steering is safety-critical, so have a workshop carry out the checks and the programming
