The left front seat module (PSL) registers too high a reading from the Hall sensor in the backrest, and the fault code is set then. The wire from the Hall sensor is shorted to supply voltage.

- The wire from the backrest Hall sensor is shorted to supply voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and run the backrest to see whether it returns
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the wire from the backrest Hall sensor has no contact with supply voltage
- 3Check the connector at the backrest for loose fit, oxidation and poor contact
- 4If a short is found, repair or replace the wire, or have a workshop do it
- 5After the repair, check that the seat can move the same distance forwards whether the backrest is folded down or upright
