Hva betyr feilkoden?
The left front seat module (PSL) registers a serious disturbance on the CAN network that blocks communication, and the fault code is set then. The seat's automatic functions and the remote control do not work.
Mulige årsaker
- Short circuit between the CAN wires
- Open circuit in one of the CAN wires
- Internal fault in the control module
- Internal fault in another control module on the same part of the CAN network
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault codes in the central electronic module (CEM), since it is the only module that can set a fault code for a CAN wire shorted to earth or supply voltage
- 2Check that the connectors in the CAN network are secure and free from corrosion, and look for chafed wires
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the CAN wires have no open circuit and no short to each other, to earth or to supply voltage
- 4If a control module is found to send incorrect messages, it must be replaced, which a workshop should do
- 5After a repair, start the car and read the fault codes to check that the fault is gone

- The remote control cannot operate the seat
- Automatic operation of the seat and mirrors does not work

- The control module switches itself off from communication and stays off until the power supply is cut
- When power is switched on again, the control module tries to communicate again
