The code concerns parking sensor 6. When the parking assistance module (PAM) sees a faulty signal from the sensor, the code is set and parking assistance does not work.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire between the PAM and parking sensor 6 shorted to supply voltage or ground
- Power supply wire to parking sensor 6 shorted to ground
- Ground wire to parking sensor 6 shorted to supply voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and test drive the car to see whether it returns
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to parking sensor 6 has no contact with supply voltage or ground when the ignition is off
- 3Check that the power supply wire to parking sensor 6 is not shorted to ground and that the ground wire is not shorted to supply voltage
- 4If no fault is found, have a workshop replace parking sensor 6
