The rear seat entertainment control unit (RSE) checks the cable that powers the screens, which is its output A. The code is set when the voltage on that cable is too low, and the rear seat entertainment then does not work as it should.
Mulige årsaker
- The cable to the screens is shorted to ground
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses for the rear seat entertainment are intact
- 2With the ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the cable supplying the screens has no contact with ground (the bodywork)
- 3Check that the connectors to the screens and to the RSE are fully seated and free from oxidation, and look for chafing on the cable
- 4With diagnostic equipment and the engine running, read the RSE parameters and see whether the voltage to the screens is listed
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment find where the cable is shorted
