The steering angle sensor (SAS) receives information about the car's configuration from the central electronic module (CEM). The code is set when that information is lost. Fault tracing is then carried out in the CEM, since that module sends the information.

- The fault lies in the module sending the vehicle configuration, which is the central electronic module (CEM).
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their location is shown in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover.
- 2With a diagnostic tool, read the fault codes in the CEM and note which ones are present.
- 3Have a workshop fault-trace the CEM, since the vehicle configuration comes from there.
- 4The angle sensor is part of the steering and stability system. Have a workshop carry out the fault tracing rather than working on the steering wheel yourself.
