The left or right side control module communicates with the driver's door module (DDM) all the time. The code is set when that communication is disturbed or stops. Fault tracing is carried out in the module that sends the information, which may be the driver's door module.

- 3Have a workshop fault-trace the CAN communication between the driver's door module (DDM) and the CEM, since this needs measuring equipment.
