Hva betyr feilkoden?
The right side obstacle detection control module (SODR) communicates continuously with the left side module (SODL). The code is set when communication between the two has been interrupted or is missing. The cause may lie in the SODL, in the wiring, or in how one of the modules is programmed.
Mulige årsaker
- Fault in the left side obstacle detection control module (SODL), which should send the information
- Open circuit in one or both CAN wires along part of the network, or a short between them or to ground or voltage
- Incorrect signal configuration in the SODL, for example after a replacement where no new software was loaded
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault codes in the central electronic module (CEM); if several control modules hold codes for missing communication with the SODL, start with the CEM
- 2Check that the connectors to the SODL and SODR are secure and free of oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the CAN wires between the SODR and SODL have no open circuit or short; disconnect the battery negative lead first
- 4Clear the fault codes, start the car and read the fault codes again to see whether the fault returns
- 5If the fault remains, a workshop needs to reprogram the SODL with the latest software
Symptomer du kan merke3
- Blind spot warning (BLIS) stops working
- Cross traffic alert (CTA) does not work
- Yellow warning symbol and message in the display
Generell veiledning for bileiere. Feilsøking på bilen kan peke på en annen årsak.
