Intermittent fault in the driver airbag stage 1 circuit. The capacitance in the circuit has been too high for a longer period, and the code is then set. The cause may be too high capacitance or a short in the built-in capacitor in the connector of the igniter wire.

- 1Have a workshop check the igniter wire connectors for oxidation and poor contact
- 2A workshop measures the circuit with the right equipment; this is not a job for you
- 3The airbag system should only be handled by a workshop
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all checks and repairs on it
