Hva betyr feilkoden?
The fault code is intermittent, meaning it comes and goes: the fault has been present but is not there all the time. The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) sets the code when the resistance in the circuit to the front left side airbag is too high for a longer period. The fault lies in the igniter wire, in the connectors or in the airbag itself.
Mulige årsaker
- Open circuit in the igniter cable or the connectors linking the front left side airbag to the SRS module
- Open circuit in the front left side airbag, giving too high resistance in the igniter
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors at the front left side airbag and at the SRS module for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Leave work on the airbag system to a workshop; the check and any repairs are not for the owner to do
