The fault applies to the rear left seat belt tensioner and is intermittent. The signal from the tensioner is too low, and the cause is a short to ground.
Mulige årsaker
- The connector is shorted to ground
- The signal wire from the rear left tensioner to the SRS control module is shorted to ground
- The rear left seat belt tensioner itself is shorted to ground
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read off the fault code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check that the connector at the tensioner is firmly seated and clean
- 3Have a workshop look for an intermittent short to ground in the signal wire to the rear left tensioner, and repair what is found
- 4Do not work on the airbag system or the seat belt tensioners yourself; leave the checks to a workshop
