The resistance in the circuit to the centre rear seat belt tensioner has been too low for a longer period, which resembles a short circuit. The fault is stored as intermittent, meaning it has occurred at some point but may not be present right now. The cause can be in the connector, in the signal wire to the SRS control module, or in the seat belt tensioner itself.

- Short circuit in the connector
- Short circuit in the signal cable running to the SRS control module
- Short circuit in the seat belt tensioner, with resistance too low in the igniter
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Have a workshop check that the connector to the centre rear seat belt tensioner is fully engaged and not oxidised
- 2Have a workshop check the connector at the airbag control module in the same way for loose contact and oxidation
- 3Have a workshop check chafed or pinched sections of the wire between the control module and the seat belt tensioner
- 4If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the wiring for an intermittent short to ground and check the seat belt tensioner
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
