Hva betyr feilkoden?
The resistance in the circuit to the passenger airbag has been too high for a longer period, which suggests contact resistance or an open circuit in the cable. The fault is stored as intermittent, so it has occurred at some point but may not be present now. The airbag module itself can also be the cause.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance in the connector or an open circuit in the cable running from the passenger airbag to the control module
- Open circuit in the airbag module, with resistance too high in the igniter
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Have a workshop check the connector to the passenger airbag and the connector at the airbag control module for contact resistance and oxidation
- 2Have a workshop check damage to the connectors and the cable, especially if it may have chafed or been pinched
- 3If the fault does not clear, have a workshop check the cable and the airbag module with diagnostic equipment
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
