The circuit to the rear right seat belt tensioner has too high capacitance for a longer period. Capacitance is the circuit's ability to store electrical charge. The fault is stored as intermittent, so it has occurred at some point but may not be present now. The cause is in the connector or in the signal wire to the SRS control module.

- 1Have a workshop check that the connector to the rear right seat belt tensioner is fully engaged and not oxidised
- 2Have a workshop check the connector at the airbag control module for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Have a workshop check damage and chafing on the wire between the control module and the seat belt tensioner
- 4Have a workshop check the wiring and connectors with diagnostic equipment if the fault returns
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
