The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) monitors the signal from the inflatable curtain at the rear right. The signal cable reads a voltage above the expected level, which can be caused by a short to supply voltage in the wiring to the curtain or in the curtain itself.
Mulige årsaker
- Short circuit to supply voltage in the ignition cable or the connectors between the inflatable curtain and the SRS module
- Short circuit to supply voltage in the inflatable curtain
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1If you have a diagnostic tool, note the fault code before it is cleared
- 2Have a workshop check the wiring and connectors between the rear right inflatable curtain and the SRS module
- 3If the fault remains after these checks, a workshop can try replacing the inflatable curtain
- 4Leave any work on the airbag system to a workshop rather than doing it yourself
