The fault is intermittent, meaning it is sporadic and may not be present right now. It concerns the wiring to the front left side impact sensor, where the voltage in the circuit has been too high or too low for a period.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal too high: the signal wire has a short circuit to supply voltage
- Signal too high: faulty side impact sensor
- Signal too low: the signal wire has a short circuit to ground
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1If you can read fault codes, note which one is shown and whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors at the side impact sensor and at the SRS module for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Have a workshop check whether the wire to the side impact sensor is intermittently short-circuited to supply voltage
- 4The airbag system should only be checked by a workshop
Symptomer du kan merke1
- SRS warning lamp lit
