The SRS control module has recorded that the voltage on the signal line from the front left seat belt buckle has been too high for a longer period. The cause is a short to supply voltage in the wiring, the connector or the buckle, or crossed signal wires.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire touching supply voltage somewhere along its run between the buckle and the SRS module
- Short to supply voltage in the connector
- Short circuit inside the seat belt buckle
- Signal wires crossed between the buckle and the SRS module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault code with diagnostic equipment and note it
- 2Check that the belt locks properly with a click when the tongue is pushed in, and that nothing has jammed in the buckle
- 3Have a workshop check the connectors and wiring between the buckle and the SRS control module
- 4If the fault remains and no cause is found, have a workshop replace the buckle
