The restraint system control module has registered a fault in one of its internal functions itself, which gives code SRS-0126. The fault is intermittent and may have occurred earlier without being present now. The control module is the cause of the fault.

- 1Read off the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment read off and check the control module
- 3When a control module is replaced, the workshop must program the new one, as it comes without software
- 4Do not work on the restraint system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks
