The SRS has found that two separate igniter circuits in the right side impact airbag (SIPS bag) are shorted to each other. The fault is intermittent. Other SRS codes present at the same time show which circuits may be affected.

- 1Read the fault codes and note which other SRS codes are present at the same time. They show which circuits may be affected
- 2Have a workshop visually check the connectors to the components that have SRS codes at the same time for chafing and damage
- 3Have a workshop check wires lying close together that may have shorted, especially where they run side by side under the seat
- 4Clear the codes and see if any come back. If they do, have a workshop measure the circuits with diagnostic equipment
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
